Epilepsy Training

This course will cover epilepsy and seizures, how to recognise and treat a seizure when it occurs, and how to recognise and avoid triggers.

In particular the session will cover how to support someone with epilepsy, both during a seizure and in day-to-day life, to manage risks, and help recognise an emergency situation. The epilepsy training course also covers the socio & psychological impact that living with epilepsy can have and we will look at medications and other treatment options available for a person diagnosed with epilepsy

Knowing how to support someone during a seizure can have a life-changing impact on their outcome, and our epilepsy training will enable the client to be supported and cared for before, during and after a seizure.

Enfermera Clinical will ensure your epilepsy training covers everything required. All training is nurse-led and delivered in a professional and welcoming atmosphere, where questions and queries are encouraged and responded to in a meaningful way.
